A Child Is Born embossed Christmas Card

The stamp set A Child Is Born has some beautiful images to use on your Christmas cards. Heat embossing with gold makes your card even more special.

Card Base: Cut Basic Black 5 ½ X 8 ½. Fold in half so the card front measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Mat: Cut black & gold star print paper from Modern Christmas Designer Series Paper 4 X 5 ¼. Emboss the card front with the Beautiful Pattern embossing folder. Attach the embossed card mat to the Basic Black card base.

Card Front: Cut Basic White 3 ½ X 3 ½, heat emboss image from A Child Is Born stamp set with gold embossing powder. Use the second largest circle from Spotlight on Nature Dies to cut a circle of the embossed image.

Use the largest circle from Spotlight on Nature Dies to cut a circle from Gold foil. Attach the heat embossed circle to the gold circle with Stampin Dimensionals. Attach the circles to the embossed card mat.

Heat emboss sentiment from A Child Is Born with gold embossing powder on a Basic white label cut from More Messages Die. Attach the heat embossed label below the circles with Stampin Dimensionals.

Card Insert: For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Cut a piece of print paper used on the front of your card ½ X 4. Attach to the top of the card insert. Stamp a sentiment from A Child Is Born with black ink before attaching this piece inside your card.
