An Old-Fashioned Birthday

Looking for a masculine card - this is it.

Card Base: Cut Early Espresso 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Frontt: Cut paper 4 X 5 1/4

Die cut largest label in Stitched Nested Labels die set from Very Vanilla paper. Use Tuxedo Black Memento ink to stamp decanter and sentiment on the die cut label. Stamp glass and sentiment on 4 X 5 ¼ Very Vanilla paper for inside of card.

I used the light Cinnamon Cider Blends to color the contents of the decanter and the glass. I then used Dark So Saffron to color over the center parts of the liquid in the decanter and glass, staying away from stamped lines indicating shadow. I used Light Pool Party just on corners of glass and on stopper of decanter. Set this aside to dry.

Attach Card front to card base.

I used Wink of Stella on decanter and glass to give the look of glass reflecting the light.

I used a sponge double with Soft Suede ink to lightly edge each side of the stamped large label. Attach large label to card with dimensionals.

Attach stamped insert inside the card.
