Art Gallery Split card
The Fine Art Floral Suite has two beautiful papers, I used both in this card.
Card Base: Cut Blushing Bride 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Front: Cut Art Gallery Floral print paper 4 X 5 ¼. Cut the paper lengthwise at 1 ¼. The 2 ¾ X 5 ¼ piece will use the floral print as the front. The 1 ¼ X 5 ¼ will use the Blushing Bride soft print as the front.
Cut a piece of the overall print from the Golden Garden Speciality Acetate 1 ¼ X 5 ¼. This speciality acetate has a film on the silver side, remove the film. Place a piece of tear & tape on the long edge of the silver side of the acetate piece. Remove the backing from ribbon and attach the acetate with gold up over the Blushing Bride soft print 1 ¼ X 5 ¼ piece.
Cut 7’ of the Fine Art ribbon, attach tear & tape to the back of the ribbon. Remove backing from ribbon. Lay ribbon face up on your work surface, lay the edge of the floral print front side down on part of the ribbon.
Attach acetate/Blushing Bride print piece front side down next to the other card piece. The tear & tape on the ribbon will hold the two card pieces together. Wrap the ribbon around to the back of the card.
Your card front now looks like this.
Attach the card front to Blushing Bride card base. That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
