Aspen Tree Halloween card
Aspen Tree Dies used with the Scary Cute stamp set makes a fun Halloween card. I used the Metallic & Shimmer paper to make an eye catching card front.
Card Base: Cut Basic Black 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Front:
Cut Basic White paper 4 X 5 ¼. Use black ink to stamp three trick or treaters from the Scary Cute stamp set at the base of the white card front.
Cut Metallic & Shimmer Speciality paper 4X 5 ¼. Use the Aspen Tree oval shaped die to cut the front open tree image.
Attach die cut tree front to stamped white card front with dimensionals. Attach the card fronts to the Basic Black card base.
Use the Stylish Shapes dies to cut the smaller narrow banner from Basic Black paper and the smaller wide banner from Basic White paper.
Stamp sentiment from Scary Cute stamp set with Black ink on the Basic White banner. Attach stamped white banner to black banner, attach these banners to card front with dimensionals.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
