I love the Aspen Tree die. I think it is so versatile. For this project, I used it for a Thinking of You card.

Card Base: Cut Evening Evergreen 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Front:
Cut Very Vanilla paper 4 X 5 ¼. Use the Aspen Tree oval shaped die to cut the front open tree image.

Cut Evening Evergreen stripe paper from Boughs of Holly paper pack 3 ⅞ X 5 ⅛. Attach a dimensional to each corner of this paper. Remove backing from each the dimensionals, attach the die cut Very Vanilla piece over the Evergreen stripe paper. Attach these papers to the Evening Evergreen card base.

Use the largest leaf to cut a leaf from Soft Succulent paper.

Use the smaller leaf to cut two leaves from Evening Evergreen paper.

Use the Stylish Shapes dies to cut the smaller narrow banner from Kraft paper and the smaller wide banner from Very Vanilla paper.

Stamp sentiment from Very Best Occasions stamp set with Evening Evergreen ink on the Very Vanilla banner.

Layer the two smaller leaves over the larger leaf. Add tear & Tape to the back of the kraft banner. Attach the banner centered over the leaves. Attach the stamped Very Vanilla banner and attach over the Kraft banner. Attach the leaves and banners to the card front with dimensionals.

That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Very Vanilla 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
