August 2020 Paper Pumpkin Sunflower alternate card
This card uses pieces of the August 2020 Paper Pumpkin kit for this sunflower card.
Card Base: Cut Crushed Curry 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Use the mint macaron plaid card to cut 4 X 5 ¼ card front. You can get two card fronts from one card included in the kit.
Use Sunflowers Die to cut a sunflower from Early Espresso paper. Attach this sunflower to the Crushed Curry watercolor piece included in the kit. Attach the sunflower so that part of the flower is off of the Crushed Curry mat. I used liquid glue just under the center of the flower. Trim the part of the flower that is off of the Crushed Curry mat
Die cut the flower center from the plaid card front, cut it from the part that will be hidden by Crushed Curry mat. (See picture) Attach plaid flower center to the flower
Attach the Crushed Curry mat with the flower attached to the plaid card front.
Cut 5 ½ of Mint Macaron ribbon, attach to card front over the Crushed Curry mat, wrapping ribbon to the back.
Attach plaid card front to Crushed Curry base.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. Wasn’t that easy? For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
