First, I love Plaid Tidings papers, it can’t be used for so many kinds of cards. Second, have you see the stamp set, Yuletide Pasture? It is such a fun stamp set. They come together and make a great holiday card.

Card Base: Cut Real Red 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Mat: Cut Basic Black paper 4 X 5 1/4

Card Front: From Plaid Tidings paper pack, cut gray plaid paper 3 7/8 X 5 ⅛
The piece you have left 2 ⅛ X 6 can be used to cover your envelope flap.

Cut 6” of red ribbon. Attach red ribbon to Card Front plaid paper. I used tear & tape on the back of the ribbon and wrapped the ribbon to the back of the card front.

Attach card front to card mat. Attach these to the card base.

Die cut largest circle in Stitched Shapes dies from Whisper White paper. Stamp Sheep image with Tuxedo Black ink. Color image with Blends, I used Smokey Slate, Old Olive, and Real Red.

Cut a strip of Whisper White ½ X 3. Punch one end with Banners Pick A Punch. Stamp “Be Merry” sentiment with Real Red ink near the punched end,

Cut a strip of Basic Black ¾ X 3. Punch one end with Banners Pick A Punch. Attach stamped, punched white strip to Basic Black punched strip. Attach this punched piece to the right side of the card front above the red ribbon.

Attach stamped and colored stitched circle to card front with dimensionals over ribbon and end of banner piece.

That’s it; you have finished your card front. Wasn’t that easy? For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
