Bird Ballad note cards
Easy is OK, especially at this busy time of year. I give my sisters and sister-in-laws a pack of cards each Christmas. These cards could be used for all kinds of occasions. The oh so pretty papers in the Bird Ballad Suite do all the work.
Bird & Flowers card:
Card Base: Cut 8 ½ X 11 Soft Suede paper in half width wise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Daffodil Delight paper 4 X 5 1/4
Card Front: Cut Bird Ballad paper 3 7/8 X 5 1/8
Feather Card:
Card Base: Cut Basic Gray 8 ½ X 11 paper in half width wise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Bermuda Bay paper 4 X 5 1/4
Card Front: Cut Bird Ballad paper 3 7/8 X 5 1/8
For each card, attach card front to card mat. Attach these to card base.
