This card can be used for so many occasions. I made it for my god-father’s birthday, he loves to watch birds.

Card Base: Cut Old Olive 8 ½ X 11 paper in half width wise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½. Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Front: Cut barnwood paper 4 X 5 1/4

Card Mat: Cut Very Vanilla paper 3 1/2 X 3 1/2

Die cut opening with circle die in Birds & More dies. I cut bird from blue paper in Artistry Blooms paper pack. I did not include this paper pack in the supply list because you need just a little piece. Use any paper with a subtle print to cut out the bird in the Birds & More dies.

Attach the Very Vanilla square paper to back of barnwood card front, so the vanilla paper will show through the opening. Attach these papers to card front.

Die cut branch from Old Olive paper and attach branch to card front below opening. Attach bird in opening against Very Vanilla paper. If you have rhinestones in craft supplies, attach one for bird’s eye.

That’s it; you have finished your card front. Wasn’t that easy? For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
