I love these fun birthday animals in the Birthday Bonanza Designer Series Paper. They make me smile and isn't that what a child's birthday card should do?

Card Base: Cut Bermuda Bay8 ½ X 11 paper in half width wise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Mat: Cut Basic Black paper 4 X 5 1/4

Card Front: Cut Birthday Bonanza paper 3 7/8 X 5 1/8

Stamp Happy Birthday with Bermuda Bay ink on Whisper White paper. Die cut with larger of two banner pieces in Lakeside Dies.

Note: if you don't have this die set. You could cut a strip of white paper or use any banner die you have that fits on the card front.

Die cut scallop circle from mat

Punch a 2' circle of Bermuda Bay.

Punch a 1 1/2 " of party hat animal from Birthday Bonanza print paper.

Die cut scallop circle from black paper. To save paper cut your scallop from black mat, you won't see the missing circle because it will be covered with print paper. (see picture)

Assemble your card:

Attach Card Front to black mat. Attach these to Bermuda Bay card base.

Attach Bermuda Bay circle to card front.
Attach Happy Birthday banner to Bermuda Bay circle.

Attach 1 1/2" circle punch of party hat animal to black scallop circle. Attach this circle to Bermuda Bay circle with dimensionals.
