Birthday Candles
Sometimes the paper just makes your card. With this great candle paper, I just added some coordinating color in the mat and ribbon and I had a fun birthday card.
Card Base: Cut 8 ½ X 11Tranquil Tide paper in half width wise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Berry Burst paper 4 1/8 X 5 3/8
Card Front: Cut Picture Perfect Party paper 4 X 5 ¼
Adhere Berry Burst mat to Tranquil Tide card front.
Cut a 6" piece of Berry Burst ribbon
Adhere Berry Burst ribbon around the bottom of Picture Perfect Party paper, wrapping ribbon ends around the back.
Adhere the Picture Perfect Party paper to Berry Burst mat on card.
Stamp Happy Birthday in Berry Burst ink on scrap of Whisper White.
Punch sentiment out with Classic Label punch.
Punch scrap of Tranquil Tide with Classic Label punch
Adhere Tranquil Tide punched piece to left of punched sentiment (see card front)
Attach to ribbon on card front
