This card has some of my favorite things in the Peony Garden Suite of products. The vellum doilies are just beautiful and I really like the Dainty Diamonds embossing folder.

Card Base: Cut Petal Pink 8 ½ X 11 paper in half width wise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Mat: Cut Petal Pink paper 4 X 5 1/4. Emboss this piece with Dainty Diamonds embossing folder. Attach this piece to card front.

Stamp sentiment with Petal PInk ink on Whisper White paper. Die Cut stitched square die that fits around stamped image. Die cut a stitched square of Petal Pink the next size up from the white die cut square.

The vellum doilies are beautiful but vellum can be hard to add to your project without having the adhesive showing.

Lay one of the vellum doilies on card front. Put glue on back of Petal Pink square, place this Petal Pink square over center of vellum doily and the glue from back of square will hold doily in place.

Attach stamped white square at an angle over Petal Pink square. Place 3 faceted gems on stamped white square.

That’s it; you have finished your card front. Wasn’t that easy? For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.

I have added the envelopes and Peony Garden paper to supply list if you want to decorate an envelope as pictured above.
