Blessed Beginnings Wedding card

This is a wedding card our card ministry made for our church. I embossed a speciality paper, it added extra interest to the card front.

I made this card in 3 colors (Hydrangea Hue, Crisp Cantaloupe, Barely Blush). I am sharing directions for the Crisp Cantaloupe card, the supplies for all 3 colors are included in the supply list.

Card Base: Cut Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock 8 ½ X 5 ½. Fold the card base so the card base front measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Front: Cut Shimmering Stripes Specialty Designer Paper 4 X 5 ¼. Emboss the card front with the Paradise Garden Hybrid embossing folder.

Cut 5 ½ of Crisp Cantaloupe ribbon. Put tear & tape on the back of the ribbon. Removing backing from tear & tape and attach to the embossed card front 1” from the bottom of the embossed card front. Attach the card front to the Crisp Cantaloupe card base.

Use the Sweetly Sentimental Hot Foil dies with silver foil to make the sentiment for the card front on Willow White card stock. Attach the die cut sentiment to the Crisp Cantaloupe ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Add 3 Crisp Cantaloupe In Color Dot to the card front.

Card Insert: Cut Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Cut a strip of the same paper used on the card front ½ X 4 (5 ¼). Attach the strip of paper to the top of the card insert. Stamp a sentiment from the Blessed Beginnings stamp set with Pecan Pie ink on the insert before attaching the card inside the card base.

Envelope: Emboss the envelope flap with the Paradise Garden embossing folder.
