Brightly Gleaming Blessings

Brightly gleaming blessings

The Brightly Gleaming paper paired with a copper foil leaf makes for a beautiful card. This is the Thanksgiving card I am sending out this year. I love the sentiment on the front of the card. It came from a stamp set I used once and was sure I would never use again! It is from the Barn Door stamp set, I made one card with with Barn Door stamp and dies. It was too detailed for me. I thought I was done with that stamp set. It just shows that it is good to look at different ways to use a stamp set.

Card Base: Cut Pretty Peacock 8 ½ X 11 paper in half width wise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Mat: Cut Copper Foil paper 4 X 5 1/4

Card Front: Cut Brightly Gleaming paper 3 7/8 X 5 1/8

Stamp sentiment on Very Vanilla with Copper Ink. Cut out with Stitched Nested Label, I chose one that allowed me to put the sentiment to the right side of label, leaving room for part of the leaf on the Vanilla label.

Cut the next size Stitched Nested Label from Pretty Peacock paper.

Attach Brightly Gleaming card front to Copper mat. Attach these pieces to card front.

Attach stamped Vanilla label to Pretty Peacock label. Attach these pieces to card front.

Cut largest embossed leaf in Gathered Leaf dies from Copper Foil. Attach to stitched labels with dimensionals.
