Cake in Gorgeous Grape
I made this birthday card for a friend. It is such a fun card, adding glimmer dots and Wink of Stella makes it even more special.
Card Base: Cut Gorgeous Grape 8 ½ X 11 paper in half width wise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Coastal Cabana paper 4 1/8 X 5 3/8
Card Front: Cut Gorgeous Grape dot paper 4 X 5 1/4
Cut a strip of Coastal Cabana dot paper 1 X 4
Cut Gorgeous Grape ribbon 5 1/4 inches
Adhere Coastal Cabana dot strip to left side of dot paper. Adhere ribbon around both of these sheets of paper. I used Tear & Tape to do this.
Adhere these pieces to Coastal Cabana mat.
Adhere these pieces to Gorgeous Grape card base.
Cut circle of Gorgeous Grape paper using largest circle in Stitched Shapes.
Cut circle of Whisper White using layering circles.
Stamp sentiment with Tuxedo Black Memento ink on white circle.
Adhere stamped white circle to Gorgeous Grape circle. Adhere circles to card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Color word Cake with Gorgeous Grape Brights marker. Let coloring dry, add glimmer with Wink of Stella pen.
Adhere glimmer enamel dots to circle.
