Calming Camellia Thinking of You card
The flower image in the Calming Camellia stamp set is stunning. I paired with some of the pretty papers in the Simply Marbleous paper pack.
Card Base: Cut Basic Gray 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Simply Marbleous paper 4 ⅛ X 5 ⅜. Attach the card mat to the card base. Because the card base is Basic Gray and it is stamped in Basic Gray, you can use a variety of the colors available in the Simply Marbleous paper pack.
Card Front: Use the largest die in the Scalloped Contours die set to cut the card front from Basic White. Stamp the flower image in the Calming Camellia stamp set in Basic Gray on the card front. Attach the stamped card front to the card mat.
Stamp the sentiment from the Calming Camella stamp set in Basic Gray ink on Basic White paper. Choose the layering circle that just fits around the stamped image and die cut the circle shape. Choose the scalloped circle that just fits around your stamped circle and cut a scalloped circle from the same paper as your card mat. Attach the scallop circle to the stamped white circle and attach these to the card front with Stampin Dimensionals.
Add 3 clear polished dots to the right lower corner of the card front.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
