Calypso Coral Blooms

Today I tried the Bloom by Bloom stamp set and I am in love. I used Calypso Coral on this version, I can't wait to try lots of other color combos. I made this a Birthday card, but this beautiful bloom would also work on a Sympathy card or a card just for mom. The Rectangular Stitched Framelits made it easy for me to cut the two pieces for card front and the stitching added a special touch.

Card Base: Cut Night of Navy 8 ½ X 11 paper in half lengthwise. You now have two pieces 4 ¼ X 11. Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Mat: Cut Whisper White paper 4 X 5 1/4

Card Front: Cut Striped print paper from Happiness Blooms print paper pack 1 1/2 X 5 1/4

Adhere striped paper to White piece, lining up striped paper at left side of card front.

Cut stitched rectangle from Calypso Coral paper. (I used the 3rd largest rectangle. If you don't have the Rectangle Stitched Framelits, cut the coral rectangle 3 X 4 1/4.)

Cut Stitched Rectangle from Whisper White paper. (I used the 4th largest rectangle. If you don't have the Rectangle Stitched Framelits, cut the white rectangle 2 5/8 X 4 .)

Stamp white rectangle with images & colors:

Large flower: Grapefruit Grove
Small flower & sentiment: Calypso Coral
Stem & leaves: Pear Pizzazz

Adhere stamped white rectangle to Calypso Coral rectangle.

Attach these rectangles to to card front with Stampin Dimensionals

Attach Happiness Blooms enamels to white rectangle. What colors will you use when you make this pretty card?
