Cherish the Season bells card

Cherish the Season is a great bundle to use in making Christmas cards. The metallic bells really pop on this card.

Card Base: Cut Mossy Meadow 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Mat: Cut Real Red paper 4 X 5 1/4

Card Front: Cut Whisper White paper 3 7/8 X 5 ⅛. Emboss card front with the Subtle embossing folder. Attach embossed white card front to the Red card mat.

Cut the largest bough in the Beautiful Boughs die set from Mossy Meadow. Attach this to the upper part of your card front. I used liquid glue just on the main stem. You need to leave the other parts of the bough unattached so you can add ribbon with bells under the greens.

Cut the 3 largest bells in the Sounds of the Season dies. I put a piece of Tear & Tape on the back of each bell, so the the holly pieces didn’t come out of the bell, I wanted a solid metallic bell.

Slip one end of ribbon over top of bell to back of bell and attach at back of bell with Tear & Tape. Do not cut the ribbon yet! Place dimensionals on back of bells.

I began with the smallest bell and attached it to the far right of my card. Determine where you can hide the ribbon behind the greens, then cut the ribbon. I attached a ribbon behind the greens with glue dot, this also helped attach the greens to the card front. I then repeated this with a large bell in the center of the card front. I repeated again with a medium bell at the far left of the card.

Attach matted card front to Mossy Meadow card base.

That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.

I stamped bells from the stamp set on the envelope.
