Christmas Boughs on barnwood
The papers in the In Good Taste paper pack has amazing prints including this barnwood print. I think the background sets the tone for the card.
Card Base: Cut Real Red 8 ½ X 11 paper in half width wise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Front: Cut Barnwood paper 4 X 5 ¼
Die cut boughs from Beautiful Boughs dies from Mossy Meadow paper.
Die larger label from Beautiful Boughs dies from Very Vanilla paper. Stamp sentiment with Early Espresso ink on Vanilla label.
I used tear & tape to attach one of the lower boughs on back of the Vanilla label. Attach boughs and labels to the card front (I trimmed some of the stem to get it to fit where I wanted it on the card front.
Cut 5 ½ of red ribbon and run one end through slide. Attach to lower edge of card front, wrapping ribbon around to the back of the card front.
Attach card front to Red card base.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. Wasn’t that easy? For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
I stamped a bough from stamp set with Mossy Meadow ink on the corner of the envelope.
