Christmas Tags & More Gift Card Holder

Christmas Tags & More is a 6x6 paper pack that works great with this gift card holder. This is a design that could be used for all kinds of gift card holders, just change up the paper.

Card Base: Cut Garden Green 4 ¼ X 11. Score at 2” and 5 ½”. Fold on score lines.

Designer Series Paper:
I used a paper from Christmas Tags & More Designer Series Paper. To get the placement of the wreath arch where I wanted it on the front of the card, I cut ½ off the top of the paper. I then cut it 3 ⅛ from the right side of the paper. I then cut that paper 3 ⅞” long.

I cut another piece 1 X 4 ¼. The remaining paper cuts are not used on this project.

Gift card pocket: Attach tear & tape from the 2” score line to the end of the paper. Remove backing from tear & tape and fold up the 2” gift card pocket. Attach the 1 X 4 ¼ Designer Series Paper to the gift card pocket.

Card Mat: Cut Real Red paper 3 ¼ X 4.

Card Front: Attach the 3 ⅛ X3 ⅞ Designer Series Paper to the Real Red card mat. Attach print paper/mat to the front of the card base (the other side of the gift card holder).

Cut 4 ½ of Real Red Shiny Ribbon, put tear & tape on the back of the ribbon. Remove backing from the ribbon and attach ½” from the bottom of the card front, wrapping the ribbon to the back of the card front.

Choose a sentiment from Greetings For You Mix & Match Ephemera Pack. Remove the backing from the sentiment and attach over the ribbon.

Card Insert: For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Attach the white insert inside the card base, part of the insert will be seen on the right side of the gift card holder. Attach a gold leaf from Metallic textures Rub-Ons so it can be seen on the right side.

Add 3 Garden Green Dear Dots embellishments around the gold leaf.

Envelope Flap: To get the wreath arch where I wanted on the envelope flap, I cut ½ from the top. Then I cut a piece 2 ¼ X 6.

Glue the print paper to the envelope flap and trim using the flap as a guide.
