Cones or Candles Birthday Card
First this card design is great to use for those smaller pieces of your pretty papers. Second this paper is perfect because one side is candles and the other side is cones. How fun is that?
Card Base: Cut Bermuda Bay 8 ½ X 11 paper in half width wise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Front: Cut Whisper White paper 4 X 5 1/4
Cut Bermuda Bay strip 2 X 5 1/4
Cut Birthday Bonanza paper 1 3/4 X 5 1/4
Attach Birthday Bonanza paper to Bermuda Bay strip. Attach this strip to White card front.
Attach card front to Bermuda Bay card base.
Stamp Happy Birthday with Bermuda Bay ink on Whisper White. Punch out with Label Me Fancy punch.
Punch another piece from Bermuda Bay with Label Me Fancy punch.
Cut Bermuda Bay punch piece in half and attach a piece on each end of stamped punched white piece. (see picture of card).
Attach over strip on card front with dimensionals.
I attached 3 sequins with glue dots on card front. I used sequins from the Sale-A-Bration flyer, there are also sequins in the annual Stampin' Up catalog.
