A customer asked me to make a card for her sister with a coffee theme. This is the card I designed for her.

Card Base: Cut Magenta Madness 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Mat: Cut Basic Black paper 4 X 5 1/4

Card Front: Cut stripe paper from Flowers For Every Season 3 7/8 X 5 ⅛. Attach striped paper to black card mat. Attach these pieces to the card front.

Cut a tag (I used die from North Pole Wonder) in Magenta Madness and in Whisper White. Stamp sentiment on tag leaving space for die cut “coffee” between stamped sentiments.

Die cut “coffee” from striped paper. I put an adhesive sheet on the back before die cutting. Remove adhesive backing from the back of Coffee and attach to white tag between stamped sentiments. If you don’t have adhesive sheets, some dots of liquid glue would also work.

Attach white tag to Magenta Madness tag, so that holes at top align and part of Magenta tag shows from underneath stamped white tag. Use Magenta ribbon to tie a knot at top of tags going through both tags. Attach tags to the card front. Attach Magenta enamel dots to the card front.

That’s it; you have finished your card front. Wasn’t that easy? For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
