Country Livin' card

Dscf3367

Sometimes you need a masculine card. This card would be a great birthday card or a sympathy card. I made it for a young man who just got his driver's license. He had saved up his money to buy an old truck before he even got his license.

Card Base: Cut 8 ½ X 11 Dapper Denim paper in half width wise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Cut Soft Suede paper 3 1/8 X 4 3/8

Cut Very Vanilla paper 3 X 4 1/4

Cut Burlap ribbon 6 1/2 inches

Stamp truck image with Soft Suede ink on Very Vanilla paper you cut. I also stamped it on the envelope.

Adhere Very Vanilla to Soft Suede mat.

Adhere burlap ribbon at bottom of card front. I used tear & tape to attach ribbon. I trimmed ribbon to make it even with edge of card front.

Attach matted truck image with dimensionals above burlap ribbon.
