Daffodil Afternoon paper pack can be used to make some pretty birthday cards. I cut one card front, cut that card front again and flipped one piece to get two prints on the card front.

Card Base: Cut Pear Pizzazz 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Mat: Cut Pale Papaya paper 4 X 5 ¼.

Card Front: Cut floral print paper from Daffodil Afternoon 3 ⅞ X 5 ⅛, from this card front cut a piece 1 ½ X 5 1/8. You now have two pieces for your card front. Flip the smaller piece over, attach the smaller print at the top of your mat, leaving an ⅛ inch border on sides and top. Attach the floral piece just below the print piece.

Cut 6” of Fine Art ribbon. Add tear & tape to the back of the ribbon and attach across the card front where the two pieces of ribbon meet, wrapping the ribbon to the back of the card front. Attach the card front to the card base.

Stamp sentiment on Very Vanilla paper with Early Espresso ink. Punch out stamped sentiment with the Label Me Fancy punch. Punch again from Pear Pizzazz paper. Cut the Pear Pizzazz punched piece in half and attach each half to the Very Vanilla punched piece. Attach matted punch piece to card front on the ribbon. I used dimensionals to attach it to the card front. Add 3 Pale Papaya gems from Genial Gems to the card front.
