The Dandelions embossing folder is delightful. I can think of so many reasons to use it. This will be a sympathy card, but it could be used for so many other occasions.

Card Base: Cut Pretty Peacock 8 ½ X 11 paper in half width wise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Mat: Cut Pool Party paper 4 X 5 1/4

Card Front: Cut vellum paper 3 3/4 X 5. Emboss vellum paper with Dandelions embossing folder. Attach embossed vellum card front to Pool Party mat. I used liquid adhesive behind each dandelion. I also used a strip of tear & tape at the back of the vellum where ribbon would cover it.

Cut 15” of Pool Party sheer ribbon. Attach center of ribbon to back of the Pool Party card mat. Tie knot in front of card. I used a glue dot to hold the knot in place.

Attach card front to card base.

That’s it; you have finished your card front. Wasn’t that easy? For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.

If you want to cover your envelope flap to match your card, you can find directions here: http://www.scrappinwithjoni.com/blogs/covering-your-envelope-flap. I used Pool Party paper of the 6 X 6 Subtles Designer Series Paper.
