Dino Love
I made this card for a little boy we love very much as he turns one. The saying on the front of the card is from Dino Days and was perfect for a birthday greeting. I fussy cut the dinosaur from the Dinoroar Designer Series Paper. The papers allow you to make various versions of this card.
Card Base: Cut Old Olive 8 ½ X 11 paper in half width wise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Mango Melody paper 4 X 5 1/4
Card Front: Cut Dinoroar paper 3 7/8 X 5 1/8
Cut Stitched Shape white square from largest stitched square.
Cut Mango Melody square 2 3/4 X 2 3/4
Stamp Sentiment on White stitched square with Old Olive ink
For the dinosaur on the front, I fussy cut (cut closely around a print image) a dinosaur from the Dinoroar paper. The dinosaur I cut has space between the back of the dinosaur and spiny scales. I but them apart and attached them to the back of the dinosaur.
Attach the Dinoroar card front to the Mango Melody card mat. Attach these to the Old Olive card base.
Attach the stamped stitched white square to the Mango Melody square mat. Attach these to the card front. Attach the fussy cut dinosaur to the stitched white square.
