Using the Best Plaid Builder dies is the trick to making this tile card easy. Add Wink of Stella and emboss the card front to add the final effect of fancy tile.

Card Base: Cut Pacific Point 8 ½ X 11 paper in half width wise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Mat: Cut Basic Black paper 4 X 5 1/4

Card Front: Cut Balmy Blue paper 3 7/8 X 5 ⅛, cut sea turtle print the same size as the card front 3 ⅞ X 5 ⅛

Cover back of sea turtle print paper with Adhesive sheet cut to the same size as the print paper. Use the open die from the Best Plaid Builder centered on the sea turtle paper, die cut the tile pieces.

Start in the corner of Balmy Blue paper, peel adhesive and attach sea turtle tile pieces. I worked around the outside of the blue paper, then filled in the center. I used the die cut piece to line up the tiles.

Once all tiles are attached to Balmy Blue paper. Attach this piece to the Basic Black mat. I used Wink of Stella on each of the sea turtles. Emboss this piece with the Seabed embossing folder. Attach the embossed card front to Pacific Point card base.

Stamp Happy Birthday with Pacific Point ink on Whisper White paper. Die cut with the smallest stitched square die. Cut the next size stitched square from Pacific Point paper. Attach the Pacific Point stitched square at an angle lining it up on the lines between tiles. Attach stamped white square with dimensionals in the center of the Pacific Point square.

That’s it; you have finished your card front. Wasn’t that easy? For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
