Another demonstrator showed me how to make a gift card holder from an envelope.

Begin with one of the Stampin’ Up medium envelopes and fold in half. Cut the envelope flap on the fold line. Seal the left side of the envelope.

Remove the flap on the right side of the envelope back. Fold envelope in half on the fold you made to start with.

Now you get to decorate the front of the folded envelope. Cut Cherry cobbler card stock 4 ⅛ X 2 ⅝ . Cut your print paper, 4 X 2 ½. (I used this fun Christmas lights paper from Sweet Stockings paper pack. Attach the print paper to the solid color card stock. Attach this to the front of the folded envelope.

Stamp sentiment on Basic White with Cherry Cobbler ink. Punch out with the double oval punch. Punch a scalloped oval from Cherry Cobbler using the same punch. Attach stamped oval to scallop oval.

Cut 12” of bakers twine. Fold twine in half and line up fold at the fold in envelope. Attach the twine to the decorated front with a small piece of tear & tape in the center of the front. Attach your ovals over this tape with dimensionals. Knot your twine to the right of your ovals.
