Flower wreath
This pretty card is so easy to put together. If you didn't need a birthday card, it would be a cute Easter card. I wanted the wreath to look like a grapevine wreath with flowers.
Card Base: Cut Coastal Cabana 8 ½ X 11 paper in half width wise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Front: Cut Whisper White paper 4 X 5 1/4
Die cut wreath shape from Soft Suede paper with die from Painted Labels
Stamp Happy Birthday with Coastal Cabana ink on Whisper White paper. Punch out with 1 3/4 circle punch.
Attach Happy Birthday circle to center of Soft Suede wreath piece.
Cut 5 inches of Whisper White ribbon and 3 inches of Whisper White ribbon. Color ribbons with Bermuda Bay Blends marker. Let ribbon dry.
Punch flowers from Pleased As Punch paper with small bloom punch. I used 9 flowers. You could make a fuller wreath by overlapping flowers and using more flowers.
Attach flowers to outer edge of Soft Suede wreath shape. Put rhinestone in center of each flower.
Attach wreath to white card front.
Make a knot with 3 inch piece of ribbon to one end of 5 inch ribbon. Attach ribbon around to back of white card front.
Attach card front to Coastal Cabana card base.
