gift bow flower

The gift bow die cut from Stampin' Up! does so much more than make bows. One of my favorite uses is to make flowers.

Cut 5 pieces of paper 2 1/8 X 9 /1/4 each. I used Epic Day This and That.

Use the GIft Bow Bigz Die to cut 5 of the longest bow piece. Use sticky tape to adhere each end to the center.

cut each side of the bow, making multiple slits. The closer together you make you your cuts, the greater the fullness of your flower

stack the slit bow pieces adhering one to another; criss-cross the pieces to make a flower shape.

cut your leaves from the 2 small end pieces of the bow. adhere the two together at an angle; attach to the back of your flower

cut a center; using the smallest strip on the die cut. make a cylinder and attach to the center of your flower.
