Halloween Spells + Playful Ghosts Halloween card

Halloween Spells is a fun paper pack that is part of the Halloween Memories Scrapbook kit. Playful Ghosts is an Online Exclusive. I paired them to make this fun Halloween card.

Card Base: Cut Basic Black 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Mat: Cut paper 4 X 5 ¼, I used mats cut from Pumpkin Pie, Gorgeous Grape, Granny Apple Green.

Card Front: Cut striped paper from Halloween Spells paper pack 3 ¾ X 5. Attach the striped paper to the card mat in the color of your choice. Emboss both papers with the So Swirly embossing folder. Attach the embossed card front to the black card base with dimensionals on the outside edge on the back..

Use the Perennial Postage Die set to cut a label from Basic White that measures 2 X 2 ¾. Stamp image from Playful Ghosts with black ink on the white die cut. Color with Stampin’ Up! markers.

Attach the stamped white label to the embossed card front with Dimensionals. Add 3 black Adhesive=Backed Sparkle Gems.

Card Insert: For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Cut a piece of print paper used on the front of your card ½ X 5 ¼. Attach to the top of the card insert. Stamp a sentiment from Playful Ghosts with black ink before attaching this piece inside your card.
