Hand-Penned is a beautiful floral paper pack, which may not be the first thing you think of when you are making baby cards. I used the prints on the back side of the floral print to make the baby cards.

I made this card in 4 versions using different papers from Hand-Penned and card stock in Pale Papaya, Mint Macaron, Blushing Bride, and So Saffron. The card directions are for the card I made with So Saffron.

Card Base: Cut So Saffron 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Mat: Cut Basic White 4 X 5 ¼ . Stamp sentiment from All For Baby in the lower right hand corner with Basic Gray ink.

Card Front: Cut your Hand-Penning print paper 3 X 5 ¼. Die cut one length with die from Basic Borders. Attach the card front with dimensionals to the stamped card mat. Attach your card mat/card front to your card base.

That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
