Brightly Gleaming is a beautiful holiday paper. If you check out both sides of the paper you will find some great papers to make cards for other occasions.

Card Base: Cut Mossy Meadow 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Mat: Cut Very Vanilla paper 4 X 5 ¼. You don’t see this paper on your card, it is the base for the two card front pieces.

Card Front: Cut striped paper 3 X 4, cut stars paper 2 ¼ X 4. Attach the striped paper on the Very Vanilla card mat. Attach stars paper to the Very Vanilla card mat above the striped paper.

Cut a strip of Mossy Meadow ¾ X 4 ¼. Emboss this strip with the Subtle embossing folder. Attach this strip on the card front where the striped paper and stars paper meet. Trim any excess using the card front as a guide. Attach card front to card base.

Die cut a Very Vanilla and a Night of Navy stitched square. I used the 2nd smallest square. Attach the Night of Navy square to card front at an angle (see picture for placement).

Stamp Happy Happy Birthday on Very Vanilla stitched square with Mossy Meadow ink. Attach to Night of Navy square with dimensionals.

That’s it; you have finished your card front. Wasn’t that easy? For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
