Happy Hibiscus Two Tone card

Happy Hibiscus is a beautiful new embossing folder. I paired it with the Two Tone paper and sanded it lightly to show the white center of the Two Tone paper.

Card Base: Cut Crumb Cake 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Mat: Cut Two Tone Pool Party paper 4 X 5 ¼. Emboss the card mat with the Happy Hibiscus Hybrid embossing folder. Use a fine sanding paper/block to lightly remove some of the paper. The two tone paper has a white center and it is perfect for sanding.

Cut 12” of Iridescent Striped Trim ribbon. Wrap about the bottom of the card mat ¾” from the bottom. Knot the ribbon on the far right of the embossed card mat. I used a glue dot to hold the knot in place. Attach the embossed card mat to the Crumb Cake card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals attached to the corners and sides of the card mat.

Card Front: Use the label die in the Happy Hibiscus die set to cut a label from Basic White.

Stamp the label with sentiment from Cake Celebrations with Pecan Pie ink. Attach the label over the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add 3 Riverside Irregular Pearls to the embossed card front.

Card Insert: Cut a strip of two tone Pool Party ½ X 4, emboss with the Happy Hibiscus Hybrid embossing folder. I emboss multiple strips at the same time.

For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Attach the embossed Pool Party strip to the top of the card insert. Stamp a sentiment from Cake Celebrations with Pecan Pie before attaching this piece inside your card.
