heart chain

A heart chain is so quick and it makes such a nice Valentine decoration.

cut strips of paper 3/4" by 8 1/2"
to add some interest to the white paper; I cut the strips with wave blade on the Rotary trimmer

fold strips of paper in half; if using a print paper fold with right sides together

staple just above the fold

pull the ends around so stapled fold is on inside; insert ends into folded end of next piece; staple catching the ends of the first heart in the fold of the second strip. Continue this until your chain is the desired length.
