Heartwarming Hugs - Christmas Love
Heartwarming Hugs makes Christmas cards easy. This is a cute card that comes together easily.
Card Base: Cut Real Red 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Whisper White paper 4 X 5 1/4
Card Front: From the Heartwarming Hugs paper pack cut the red print paper 3 7/8 X 5 ⅛. Cut a strip of green dot paper 2 X 5 ¼.
I embossed the green paper strip with the dotted Wrapped inTexture embossing folder. Attach the embossed green strip to the red print card front. I attached ½” from the bottom of the print paper. Attach to white card mat. Attach these to the card base.
Stamp sentiment on white paper with red ink. Punch out with 1 ½’ circle punch. Attach to card front on embossed green strip with dimensionals.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. Wasn’t that easy? For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
