I used a cherry cobbler card base with board print on a gate fold card to give the impression of a barn. The dies in the Hey Chick and Hey Birthday Chick have so many fun farm theme dies.

Card Base: Cut Cherry Cobbler 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Score one of these pieces 2 ⅛ from each end, fold on the scored lines. Your card front should now have folds that meet in the front.

Card Front: Cut board print paper from the In Good Taste Designer Series paper pack 2 X 5 ⅜. Attach board print paper to each side of gate fold card front.

From Hey Birthday Chick dies, cut the Happy Birthday from Cherry Cobbler paper. From Hey Chick dies, cut four corn stalks, I used Garden Green 6x6 Designer Series paper, and the tree stump from a wood print in the In Good Taste Designer Series paper pack. Before die cutting these pieces, I backed the paper with Adhesive sheets, it made it so each to attach them to the card front. Attach corn stalks and Happy Birthday to card front. (See picture for placement)

Die cut from Basic White card stock, a stitched rectangle. I used the 3rd smallest stitched rectangle from the large set of stitched rectangles. Stamp chick with black ink on a yellow print, I used Bumblebee 6X6 Designer Series paper. Die cut the check with the die from Hey Birthday Chick. Attach the tree stump to the lower edge of stitched rectangle. Attach the die cut chick to the top of the tree stump with dimensionals. Attach this stitched rectangle to ONE side of the gate fold card front.

That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
