Hey Sports Fan Birthday card
The paper pack Hey Sports Fan is the perfect paper to make masculine cards. This card uses two prints from the paper pack, you could use any of the papers in this pack to make this card.
Card Base: Cut Evening Evergreen 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Very Vanilla paper 4 X 5 ¼. You won’t see this paper, it is used to layer the other layers on.
Card Front: From the Hey Sports Fan paper pack, cut one print 1 ½ X 5 ¼, cut the 2nd print 2 ½ X 5 ¼. Cut a strip of Evening Evergreen ½ X 5 ¼. Attach the two print papers to the Very Vanilla mat. Attach the Evening Evergreen strip over the print papers where the papers meet. Attach the card front to the card base.
From the Stitched Rectangle Dies, cut a stitched rectangle from Very Vanilla paper. I used the 2nd largest rectangle in the set of 4. Stamp the sentiment on the rectangle with Evening Evergreen ink.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Very Vanilla 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp the sentiment with Evening Evergreen ink. Cut a strip of print paper ½ X 4, attach to the top of the card insert. Attach this piece inside your card.
