Hobby Haven Birthday Card

Hobby Haven Designer Series Paper offers some fun print papers. This card uses a paper that features items from the sewing & knitting. There is also paper that features books and one that features cooking. I plan to make the same card with each paper.

Card Base: Cut Pecan Pie 5 ½ X 8 ½. Fold in half so the card front measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Mat: Cut Coastal Cabana paper 4 X 5 ¼.

Card Front: Choose print paper from Hobby Haven, cut paper 3 X 5 ¼. Attach print paper to the Coastal Cabana mat, line up the print paper with the left edge of the mat. Cut Pecan Pie 1/2 X 5 1/4, attach next to print paper over the Coastal Cabana mat. Emboss all papers with the Exposed Brick embossing folder. Attach embossed paper to the card base.

Stamp Sentiment from Simply Said stamp set with Pecan Pie ink on Basic white cardstock. Die cut stamped sentiment with circle die from Stylish Shapes die set. Attach the stamped circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front. Attach 3 embellishments from Earthy Matte Dots. Attach the card front/mat to the card base.

Card Insert: For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Cut a piece of print paper used on the front of your card ½ X 4 (5 ¼). Attach to the top of the card insert. Stamp a sentiment from Simply Said stamp set with Pecan Pie ink before attaching this piece inside your card.
