Holly Jolly Christmas Card

I used the dies and a variety of Peaceful Pine papers to add interest to the embossed card front. A hot foil gold deer finished off this card.

Card Base: Cut Peaceful Pine cardstock 8 ½ X 5 ½. Fold the card base so the card base front measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Mat: Cut Basic White cardstock 4 X 5 ¼. Emboss the Basic White cardstock with the Textured Tree Ring embossing folder.

Card Front: Use the Graceful Evergreen Deer Hot Foil set and gold foil to make a deer for the card front. The set makes 4 deer so you have others for additional cards.

Use the Holly Jolly Branches die set to cut trees for the card front:
a large tree from Peaceful Pine cardstock and from Gingham Gallery Designer Series Paper
the smallest tree and the tallest tree from Peaceful Pine Pearlized Speciality paper
the medium tree from Peaceful Pine Velveteen.

Cut 6 ¼” of Gray Granite Variegated Trim, attach Tear & Tape adhesive to the back of the ribbon. Remove the backing from the Tear & Tape and attach the ribbon ¼” from the bottom of the embossed card front.

Attach the trees and the deer to the card front. I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to the Velveteen medium tree and the two large trees cut from Peaceful Pine and Gingham Gallery. I also attached the deer to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Card Insert: Cut Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Cut a strip of Peaceful Pine Gingham Gallery ½ X 5 ¼. Attach the strip of paper to the top of the card insert. Stamp a sentiment from the Stitched Stockings stamp set with Peaceful Ink on the insert before attaching the card inside the card base.
