Trimming the Town suite is a great holiday paper, but it also works when you need to make a housewarming card.
Card Base: Cut Poppy Parade 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Basic Black paper 4 X 5 1/4
Card Front: Cut Poppy Parade & white swirl paper from Trimming the Town paper pack 3 7/8 X 5 ⅛. Attach card front to Basic Black card mat. Attach these to Poppy Parade card base.
Use the house with heart center die from Home Together dies, cut 3 houses from Whisper White paper
Cut 1 X 3 strip of Basic Black paper. Attach Adhesive sheet to back of basic black strip. Die cut ho from hooray and ome from welcome.
Attach ho to card front. Attach ome with the o overlapping o on card.
Attach house die cuts with dimensionals to card front.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. Wasn’t that easy? For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
