Hope Eclipse card tutorial

This is an eclipse card. Eclipse is an easy technique that adds great interest to your card.

Card Base: Cut 8 ½ X 11 Berry Burst paper in half width wise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Mat: Cut Whisper White paper 4 1/8 X 5 3/8

Card Front: Cut Color Theory paper 4 X 5 ¼

Attach Whisper White paper to card front

On the plate of your Big Shot, lay out letters to spell Hope.

Cut out letters, saving all pieces.

Attach Color Theory paper to white mat on card front.

Attach mini dimensionals to back of letters.
Place these letters over the opening for the letter on the card front.

The center of the O is attached flat to the card, do the same with the center of the P.

Another example of an eclipse card, this one uses the Petal Garden paper

Instead of using a print paper on the card front, you can stamp an image and then cut out your letters
