July Paper Pumpkin alternate card - envelope card
The envelopes in this Paper Pumpkin kit are beautiful. I used the front, the back, and the flap of the envelope.
Card Base: Cut Bermuda Bay 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Using a paper cutter cut right at the edge of the bottom of the envelope and 1 side of the envelope to open up the envelope. Now cut at fold lines, easier to see on the white side to separate all the pieces.
Cut the envelope back to get a piece 2 X 4 ½
Cut the envelope flap to get a piece 1 ¾ X 4 ¼.
Cut ¼ from each side of the envelope front.
Attach envelope flap piece to piece from envelope back. Attach these over the white space on the envelope front. Attach all of these to the Bermuda Bay card base.
Stamp sentiment on white tag and sentiment on card insert. Cut 6” of ribbon and attach to the tag. Attach the tag to the center of the card front and add sequins from your kit to the tag.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
