A Little Bit Festive Christmas Tree card
Let’s Get Festive pack includes this fun Christmas tree paper. I paired with it a favorite embossing folder and a die from Merriest Trees.
Card Base: Cut Garden Green 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Garden Green paper 4 X 5 ¼.
Attach an adhesive sheet to the back of a 1” square of gold foil. Use the smallest star in the Merry Trees die set to cut a gold star.
FIRST: Use the largest tree in the Merry Trees die set to cut a tree cut out in the Garden Green mat. Place the tree die in the lower portion so you have enough room for the star at the top of the tree.
THEN: emboss the die cut card mat with the Dashing Designs embossing folder.
Card Front: Cut the tree print paper from A Little Bit Festive 3 ¾ X 5. Emboss this paper with the Fern embossing folder.
Attach the embossed tree print card front to the back of the embossed card mat with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Attach both pieces to the Garden Green card base.
Remove the adhesive paper backing from the gold star, attach the gold star to the top of the cut out tree. Add 3 clear ribboned embellishments.
Card Insert: For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Cut a piece of print paper used on the front of your card ½ X 4. Attach to the top of the card insert. Stamp a sentiment from Peaceful Seasons with Garden Green ink before attaching this piece inside your card.
Envelope Flap: Emboss the envelope flap with the Dashing Designs embossing folder.
