Masculine Sympathy card

Sympathy cards can be hard to make, I think masculine sympathy cards are even harder to make. I often rely on floral images for my sympathy cards which is not a match for a masculine sympathy card. I used one of the new plaids in the Country Club Designer Series paper pack.

Card Base: Cut Night of Navy 8 ½ X 11 paper in half width wise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Mat: Cut Garden Green paper 4 X 5 1/4

Card Front: Cut Country Club navy plaid paper 3 7/8 X 5 1/8

Adhere plaid paper front to Garden Green mat. Attach this to Navy card base.

Stamp sentiment with Navy ink on Whisper White paper. Punch out sentiment.

Die cut Night of Navy oval with Stitched Shape oval.

Die cut Garden Green oval from layering oval that fits inside navy stitched oval.

Attach Garden Green oval to Night of Navy oval. Attach these to card front.

Attach punched sentiment to Garden Green oval with dimensionals.
