Meandering Meadows Birthday card

This card design is great for those 6X6 papers. I used Meandering Meadows paper, which is an online exclusive only Stampin’ Up! product.

Card Base:
Cut your cardstock 5 ½ X 5 ½. Score the card stock at 4 ¼. Fold on the score line. I used Crushed Curry cardstock.

Die cut your Designer Series Paper (DSP):
Cut ¾ from top or bottom of your paper. I chose to cut from the top because of the design of the paper.

Beginning at the Left side of the remaining paper, cut…
a 1 x 5 ¼ strip
a 4 X 5 ¼ piece
which leaves you with a 1 X 5 /14 strip.

Attach the first 1 X 5 ¼ strip to the folded section of your cardstock base.

Card insert:
Cut Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Attach the remaining 1 X 5 ¼ strip to the far right side of the card insert.

Stamp sentiment with Crushed Curry ink. I used sentiment from Cheerful Daisies stamp set.

Img 6093

Attach the stamped card insert to the card base.

Card Front:
Lay the 4 X 5 ¼ print piece over your card insert.

Die cut the smallest narrow banner from Basic White using the Stylish Shapes die set. Stamp sentiment with Crushed Curry ink. I used sentiment from Carousel horses. Attach the stamped banner to card front. To determine placement I lay the banner on the card front and closed the folded edge of the card base to see how it would look.

Attach adhesive on the inside of the folded side of the card base.

Keep the card front in place over the card insert and close the card front. You have finished your card!
