Merry Christmas Wreath

There is just something about Christmas wreaths - I can’t get enough of them. At Christmas time we hang up FOUR wreaths outside. (In case you were wondering; 2 on garage, 1 on front door, 1 on door to my Scrappin Space. Using print paper for one of the wreaths is a quick way to add interest.

Card Base: Cut Garden Green8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Front: Cut Very Vanilla paper 4 X 5 ¼. Emboss card front with the Tasteful Texture embossing folder. Cut 6” of red ribbon, attach to bottom of card, wrapping ribbon around to the back of the card. Attach embossed card front to Garden Green card base.

Die cut two wreaths, one from Garden Green paper and one from print paper in Forever Greenery paper pack. Die cut bow from gold foil. Attach Garden Green wreath to card front (I used multipurpose tombow glue, you could also use glue dots). Attach print paper wreath to card front offsetting it a bit so leaves from Garden Green wreath don’t match up exactly with print wreath. Attach red rhinestones and gold bow to wreath.

Stamp sentiment with red ink on Very Vanilla paper. Punch out sentiment with Label Me Fancy punch, Punch another piece from gold foil. Cut gold punched piece in half and attach one half to each side of the punched sentiment. Attach to the card front over ribbon with dimensionals. Attach red rhinestones to punche sentiment.

That’s it; you have finished your card front. Wasn’t that easy? For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Very Vanilla 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
