I wanted to use Birthday Chick for a masculine card. The papers and colors helped make this a masculine birthday card.

Card Base: Cut Misty Moonlight 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Cut Basic White paper 4 X 5 ¼. Cut a strip of board print paper from In Good Taste Designer Series paper 1 ½ X 5 ¼. Attach this piece to the left edge of the white card mat. Cut a 2 ½ X 5 ¼ Misty Moonlight print, I used 6X6 Designer Series paper. Attach this paper to the right of the board print paper on the white mat. Cut Misty Moonlight ribbon 6”, attach to card front where the board print paper meets the Misty Moonlight print paper, wrap ribbon around to the back of the card. I used tear & tape to attach ribbon.

Cut the largest Stitched Nested Label from Basic White paper. Stamp chick and balloon image with Tuxedo Black Memento ink. Color with Blends, I used Crumb Cake and Misty Moonlight. I used Real Red and Mango Melody markers to add color to the chick. Attach this stamped label to card front with dimensionals. I added Misty Moonlight enamel dot the stamped label.

That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
