Mixed Media Florals Sympathy card

There are some beautiful floral prints in the Mixed Media Florals paper pack, I chose a lovely Shy Shamrock print for a sympathy card. I used a stamp set and die from the Mixed Media Florals suite to complete the card.

Card Base: Cut Shy Shamrock 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Mat: Cut Basic Blac paper 4 X 5 ¼.

Card Front: Cut green floral paper from Mixed Media Florals 3 ⅞ X 5 ⅛. Attach this print paper to the Basic Black card mat and emboss with the Dashing Designs embossing folder.

Cut 13” inches of Shy Shamrock Bordered Ribbon. Wrap the ribbon around the lower edge of the embossed card front and knot to the left side of the card front. I attached the knot to the card front with a glue dot.

Use the Mixed Labels die set to cut a label from Basic White card stock. Stamp sentiment from Mixed Labels stamp set with black ink on the white label. Attach the label over the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Attach the embossed card front with ribbon and label to the Shy Shamrock card base.

Card Insert: For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Cut a piece of print paper used on the front of your card ½ X 4. Attach to the top of the card insert. Stamp a sentiment from the Quiet Reflections stamp set with Black ink before attaching this piece inside your card.
