Mixed Media Florals Valentine
This easy to make valentine delivers impact with a pretty floral heart. Mixed Media Florals Designer Series paper was used for the heart and Cute Crochet embossing folder added interest to the card front.
Card Base: Cut Basic Black 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Poppy Parade 4 X 5 ¼. Emboss the Poppy Parade mat with the Cute Crochet embossing folder. Attach the embossed Poppy Parade mat to the Basic Black card mat.
Card Front: Use the third largest heart die from the Hearts of Elegance die set to cut a floral print heart from the Mixed Media Florals Designer Series papers. Attach the die cut heart to the right side of the card mat with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Attach 3 Adhesive-Backed Heart Sequins to the card front.
Card Insert: For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Cut a piece of print paper used on the front of your card ½ X 5 ¼. Attach to the top of the card insert. Stamp a sentiment from the Hearts of Elegance stamp set with Poppy Parade before attaching this piece inside your card.
Envelope Flap: Cut print paper used on the front of the card 2 ¼ X 6. Glue the print paper to the envelope flap and trim using the flap as a guide.
